Our mission

Within the last few years thousands of Russian experts have visited the United States of America and witnessed the life of American society resting on democratic principles and the operation of market economy.

The trips were organized as University exchange programs, as an invitation of private companies, by State Department. The vast majority of Russian specialists were invited by the Open World Program that maintains contacts with them via e-mail. Occasionally the alumni of various programs convene at conferences as well.

However we don▓t find it sufficient. This is the reason why we built up the Club of Alumni of American Programs.

It▓s main targets are :

  • To provide the alumni with ample opportunities to discuss new and old ideas with each other as well as with American busi-nessmen/specialists/guests;

  • To enable the alumni receive and render advice on challenging business and social problems

  • To give the alumni the chance to meet potential partners or people sharing the same ideas.

And last but not the least:

  • The club is a real and on-line association of the Russian and U.S. citizens seeking for professional and/or social contacts.

  • The club is the meeting-place for people sharing the same professional and social interests (residents of Moscow district and other regions).

Whenever the U.S. businessmen or non-profit seek after establishing professional contacts with Russian citizens you are most welcome to get in touch with us : we▓ll facilitate your real or on-line communica-tion.

Americans visiting Moscow/residing in Moscow and wishing to get friends among Russians or to contact Russian businessmen (espe-cially in the field of small business) are invited to write to us.

A cultural section of the club (cultural meetings with Americans residing in Moscow, excursions outside of Moscow, visits in museums, Russian families and so on) with Maria Svechnikova as the coordinator of the section.
